UEFA Champions League 2020: My Predictions
- 1. This year’s champions league has been
different from any season before mainly due to COVID-19. This season all the
matches will be played in Portugal, and in single legs in the quarter finals, semi-finals,
and the final.
- 2. UEFA released the draws for quarters
finals and further a few weeks before and this is my opinion on who’s going to
be crowned as the winner this season.
- 3. There are many strong teams playing
and many under-dogs who are performing brilliantly in their domestic leagues.
However, teams like Juventus, Real Madrid will be knocked out as per me by the
likes of Manchester City, and similarly Barcelona or Napoli, and Chelsea will
be knocked out by the likes of Bayern Munich. On the other side as per me, the
teams who will enter the semi finals will be PSG and Atletico Madrid, knocking
out Atlanta and RB Leipzig respectively.
- 4. Amongst all the predicted semi-finalists
(Bayern Munich, Manchester City, PSG, and Atletico Madrid) it’s very difficult
to choose as to who will qualify for the finals, however, in my opinion,
between Manchester City and Bayern Munich, Manchester City is more likely to
qualify, and between Atletico Madrid and PSG, PSG is more likely to qualify
(although it will be a sensational match if it happens, as both teams are
superbly performing this season).
- 5. Henceforth, in the predicted final
between Manchester City and PSG, it’s not possible to determine the winner.
Although personally I’m in support of PSG, watching their outstanding form in
domestic leagues, and in group stages and the Round of 16. However, PSG suffers
a great risk, as they heavily depend on players like Neymar and Mbappe, who if
injured can decrease the chances of PSG winning or even qualifying the semi-finals.
- 6. In conclusion, three teams are
favorites to win the title this season, and those are PSG, Atletico Madrid,
and Manchester City. It will be nice to see a new team winning the title. This
is my humble opinion only, and I don’t intend to criticize or mock any club,
and as the saying goes, anything can happen in football, so the predictions are
not to be taken seriously in any manner.
Dude you forgot bayern Munich, they have literally the highest chances of winning UCL🤫.
